October--Fox's First Birthday

Well, kind viewers, we have traveled long and far throughout the moments and memories of Fox's first year. It is time to close the Foxhole and open a new chapter. We'll post the rest of the birthday pics on the Foxhole 2, but here is a small taste of what transpired: a before and after shot of Fox's first chocolate birthday cake. On a perfect fall day in Boston, friends and family gathered together at Robbins Farm Park to share what was left of Fox's cake. Wish you all could have been there, it was a day worth remembering. Stay tuned: there's more to come!

September-Fox's first Polo match

Lou's Mom invited us to a Sunday afternoon tailgate on the North Shore to watch the seasons last match. Polo's equivalent of the seventh inning stretch is when all the kids make their way onto the field to replace the divots mid-game. Here Fox and his grandmother make a few friends while replacing divots, while Lisa Belden, Lou and Jim look on. Fox's favorite thing was seeing the horses getting hosed down in between chukkas.

Hot August Days

Fox spent most of his August days running around in diapers and trying to stay cool. We made a trip to visit Samuel and his folks on the Cape and saw Fox takeover Samuel's Radio Flyer for a his first steps.

What a face!

Portraits of Fox we just had to post.

Summer visitors

Aunt Liz came to stroll through the Boston Commons with Fox. Aunt Lizzie came later to read a bedtime story and have an au revoir BBQ with the ole Latin crew for Henry as he left Boston for the Big Apple. Family and friends, Fox adores them all.

Cars and Dogs: a few of Fox's favorite things

4th of July part deux

4th of July: Barnstable, Cape Cod

No place we'd rather be than with the DesRocher family and the Callahans come 4th of July. Uncle Andrew made a guest appearance. Andrew made his first trip clamming, Fox slept outside in a tent for the first time, the Samurai 7 boat was christened with the presence of the little ones, and Fox and Samuel kept 7 adults busy all weekend long.

Late June: Fox to VA to visit godparents

Fox and Lou took a trip to sunny VA to visit Greg and Nance. Another set of firsts: first time swimming in a lake and first time tubing. This little man is a wild one!
